Knight Shield Protocol

One mission from start to verified completion. Every issue becomes a branch. Every branch closes with proof. The system returns to the exact step that was interrupted.

Tell us what must be finished. Control what it may see. Get back the result and proof.

The five rules

  1. 01

    One mission at a time

A mission is a single job with a clear finish line. It is stated up front, in plain language, before any work starts.

  2. 02

One active branch at a time

When something goes wrong or a question comes up, it becomes a branch. Only one branch is worked at once, so nothing gets half-done in parallel.

  3. 03

    Proof before advancement

A step is not finished because someone says so. It is finished when there is evidence, and the next step stays locked until that evidence exists.

  4. 04

    Exact return point

When a branch closes, work resumes at the exact step that was interrupted — not at the beginning, and not somewhere approximate.

  5. 05

    Approval gates

Certain steps cannot pass without a human decision. Those gates are declared in advance so nobody is surprised by what needed sign-off.

Scope of this page

This is informational documentation of how Knight Shield Digital builds and runs work. It is not a claim of a publicly accessible runtime, and it does not assert that every KSD product currently runs the full protocol end to end.
